Synopsis
Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes and Nigel Bruce as Dr. John Watson appear in this sixth feature based loosely on Conan Doyle's "The Adventure of the Musgrave Ritual." This time, the detectives investigate a strange ritual that ends up in murder. To decode, Homes eclectically uses the staff and patients of a hospital as pieces in a giant chess game.
