Synopsis
After Franz Kafka's passing in 1924, his friend Max Brod defied Kafka's wish to burn his manuscripts and instead preserved them. Decades later, a dramatic legal battle unfolded in Israeli courts to decide who truly owned Kafka's legacy. This documentary explores the ethical, legal, and political stakes behind the fight.
