In this life-affirming, black comedy, two men - the devilishly handsome British lawyer Bancroft (Timothy Dalton), and rugged American football player Decker -- have absolutely nothing in common...except the struggle for survival. Both terminally ill with cancer but still equally red blooded, the duo form a warm friendship and are determined to live life to the fullest, ripping off an ambulance and heading for the brothels of Amsterdam for one final fling. Janet McTeer and Jill Bennett co-star.
